The Louvre takes its art works online for all to see

It's been a year since museums around the world closed their doors to visitors. Even though we have made some progress in going back to living our usual lives, there is still doubt. If you are someone who is missing art, here is an exceptional piece of news for you. Paris' Louvre has put up almost its entire art collection online now.
Certainly, when one of the most iconic museums decides to give everyone a treat such as this, it is hard not to check it out.

There was a time when the mention of something like this would have been brushed off as a hilariously stupid idea. But today, online exhibits are becoming a reality, and grand old establishments such as the Louvre are indeed taking the right step forward.

You can view around 482000 works of art online, all of which have been digitised for art lovers across the world.

The Parisian museum has put up a large number of paintings, engravings, sketches. sculptures, and a host of other artful delights.

As an added treat, the online exhibition also includes the Delacroix museum that is run by the Louvre. It does not stop there. You can also see sculptures from Tuileries Gardens, and other works that were recovered from Germany at the end of the Second World War.
