Maharashtra has once again introduced the E-pass system for inter-state and inter-district travel in case of extreme emergency only. Given the pandemic, Maharashtra has announced a curfew and fresh restrictions to control COVID-19 situation in the state. The number of attendance in offices and weddings has also been capped. The Director General of Police Sanjay Pandey said, "The e-pass system has been reintroduced from Friday and citizens should use it in the case of absolute emergency. People have to apply on https://Covid19.mhpolice.in/ and submit the necessary documents and mention the reason,"

You can also walk in to your nearest Police Station for assistance.
We urge all citizens to apply for an E-Pass only in the case of extreme emergencies.#EPassForTravel
If a person is unable to access the website, they can visit the nearest police station to procure the pass, Pandey informed. However, one must understand the fact that these E-passes are meant only for emergency purposes.
The Zonal Deputy Commissioners of Police have the authority to issue these passes for traveling outside Mumbai.
