The Dubai Expo is all set to welcome guests from far and wide. But what about covid travel protocols in the UAE? According to latest reports, the UAE has now relaxed its COVID travel rules for travellers from India. The expo will begin from October 1, and will go on until March 31, 2022.
Further, the UAE has even put a mechanism in place for issuing visas to those wanting to visit the Dubai Expo. About 25 million people are expected to visit the Dubai Expo, as more than 180 countries take part in the event. The Ambassador also said that the timing of the Dubai Expo coincides with the 50th anniversary of the UAE.
The Dubai Expo was supposed to be hosted in 2020, but got delayed due to the pandemic. The expo that is to start from October 1 is going to attract visitors and media from across the world. It is going to be held at the Dubai Exhibition Centre.
