Kolkata city is soon going to introduce exclusive ‘tourist pick-up and drop points’. This service will be made available across the city. Tour operators will soon be able to pick or drop off tourists with ease. Under this new venture, there will be pre-specified pickup-drop points in different strategic locations across Kolkata. At these points, only commercially registered tourist vehicles operated by the Association of Tourism Service Provider of Bengal (ATSP) will be allowed to pick and drop tourists. Read less

Also, registered tourist vehicles will be allowed to stop for 5-10 minutes at the respective tourist pick and drop points.
With this new development, seamless movement of tourists across the city can be expected in the days to come.
