As per the latest reports, This will be the first project developed in this line in the entire Northeastern Region of the country, and this step has been taken to boost tourism in the region.
Reportedly, the museum will be a part of the Integrated Aqua Park in the state of Arunachal Pradesh, whereas the project will be under the Union Ministry of Fisheries. For this, a total amount of INR 4.59 crore has already been sanctioned for this project. Reports stated that this is the first installment for the setup allotted in the current financial year.
There is already a fishery project that is in operation in the village of Bulla. The name of the said project is Tarin Fish Farm, located in the Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh. If reports are to go by, this project will be upgraded to an Integrated Aqua Park and will serve as the grounds of the upcoming fish museum.
If reports are to go by, the fish museum will feature all the fish species of the state. Apart from giving a good visual appeal, the project will also serve as a training center for anyone who is interested in taking up the fishery business in the state.
