A Colombian restaurant named Toro McCoy has proved that there are several creative possibilities waiting to be tried. Interestingly, the restaurant has come up with an exclusive burger, plated with a lead of 24-karat gold.
According to the reports, Toro McCoy’s burger with a Midas touch has been named Oro McCoy, and it has been described as a brioche burger laced in 24-karat gold with caramelised bacon, double meat and double cheese.
This high-end burger costs $59 (or INR 4330), while the regular burger at the same restaurant costs just $11(INR 807). Commenting about the preparation of this unique burger, the in-house chef Maria Paula told a leading news website that the hamburger is put on it and closed, and then the gold foil goes on. She also mentioned that it is imperative to handle the gold foil carefully or it can get spoiled if it sticks to chef’s fingers.
