A fascinating outdoor art experience
Talk of the town: It took carvers 14 years to turn Vigeland's clay prototype of 'The Monolith' into granite.
It now hosts over 200 bronze and granite sculptures, the highlight of which is 'The Monolith', a mass of 121 writhing figures carved from a single column of stone. 'The Wheel of Life', 'Angry Boy' and 'Sinnataggen' are also worth seeking out.
