This outdoor amusement park caters to families with children of all ages and offers over 20 rides and attractions to offer a full day of fun in Winnipeg. For the younger kids in the family they will enjoy rides such as the kiddie swing, the miniature drop tower and the wet boat ride. Older kids will have a blast on the tilt a whirl, bumper cars, roller coaster and the superslide. If the kids are a little hesitant on the rides why not try out the crazy mirrors, the mini-putt course and the colourful play structure. Parents don’t have to worry about packing a lunch as there is more than enough food between the main concession, candy shop, ice cream shop and antique hot dog cart. Parents don’t have to worry about trekking their stroller or wagon to the park as there are plenty of those to rent on-site. One of the best things about this park is admission is free! If you do want to do the rides though there is a ride wrist band that must be purchased. This is a great idea as those too young or old to ride can come into the park without paying anything. Open certain weekends in May and June and throughout the week in July and August, there is no better place to be in the summertime in Winnipeg than enjoying your time at Tinkertown.
