Live music is everywhere during the stampede and it would be an absolute shame if you didn’t take the time to see any of it. It tickets prices are a concern, no need to worry as there are plenty of free live music events that take place at the Coca Cola Stage inside the stampede grounds. Most musical acts happen in the evenings and performers hit the stage for a couple of hours, whether is be a popular hip hop artist, an all girl band or an up and coming musician. With plenty of standing room and a beer garden nearby, this is one popular stage throughout the 10 days. Nashville North is another popular music venue inside the stampede grounds and offers some of the biggest names in country music as well as some up and coming artists. This is also the venue where the annual Nashville North Amateur music competition takes place, where young people compete to become a star. The real big names in country though play at the Scotia Saddledome where ticket prices vary and must be bought in advance. Normally two or three concerts are held here throughout the 10 days and if you like country, don’t miss out on at least one of them.
