It has been named Canada’s greatest neighbourhood for multiple years in a row and there is good reason for this, including its ultra hip vibe. Besides strolling down the streets and popping in to vinyl record shops, handcrafted jewelry stores and yoga studios, visitors to this neighborhood should definitely choose to dine at one of the many delicious restaurants. The best of the best to eat is at Segovia, a tapas bar and restaurant that offers small plates perfect for sharing with Spanish influences. Make sure you get here right as they open at 5pm as they do not take reservations and are often full every night they are open. Other points of interest in the village include the theatre that is known for its comedy and a handful of local bar that offer local music. If you happen to be here for the Canada Day celebrations you will be in for a treat as the entire street turns into one big festival featuring food trucks, a classic hockey tournament, live entertainment stages, extended patios and much more. Bring the entire family to the family zone where there are plenty of games and activities to keep the kids entertained all day long. And hey you even get to enjoy a free slice of birthday cake!
