According to a religious Thai belief, all the sins and mistakes committed by the people throughout the year goes away with the banana leaves. It also brings happiness to the family and life. All the water bodies in the region are worshipped and decorated brightly with thousands of rafts. A number of entertainment programs are organised at various locations apart from the riverside venues. Be near Chao Phraya River on this day to witness the grand boat procession, which is an experience to remember. Some of the other prominent activities include cultural performances, light and sound programs, fireworks and beauty competitions. The festivities will go on for 2 days (November 3 to 5).
