Suria KLCC's location at the base of the Petronas Twin Tower gives it unrivalled exposure in a city that has no shortage of malls. The biggest names in retail are all here, from luxury brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu and Marc Jacobs to more affordable chains including Zara, Topshop and Uniqlo, as well as huge branches of Isetan and Marks & Spencer.

If the rampant consumerism becomes overwhelming, head to the mall's lower floors, which house a music hall, an aquarium, an interactive science discovery centre, and a gallery that displays works by Malaysian and foreign artists.
