Ski Dubai

Hit the slopes in the region’s largest indoor ski resort

Ski Dubai is undoubtedly the city’s most surreal tourist attraction. Outside, it may be hot enough to put Venus to shame, but inside the 22,500 sq m indoor ski resort, the temperature never exceeds −1 °C.
The attraction is linked to Mall of the Emirates, and there are several areas throughout the shopping centre that offer prime views of the slopes (it is not uncommon to see a burka- or thobe-clad Emirati speeding downhill). The real fun, though, is in donning a pair of ski pants and sliding down one of Ski Dubai’s five runs.

Most visitors opt to take a ski or snowboarding lesson, but there is also a snow park with tobogganing hills, a bobsled track, and an area for snowball fights.
