A cycling trip to feel enamoured – the real way to soak in the spirit of Zurich is to pedal around. The flat city has well laid out biking lanes. The touristy quarter is filled with ‘Zurich on Wheels’ offering free bike rental services. All you need is to deposit some money and get moving. Rent-a-Bike is very much a Zurich culture where you can spot office going locals in their formal suits rushing to work on bikes. While biking around the centre is fun, it is also stressful with tram tracks crisscrossing the bike lanes. River Sihl flows into the Limmat in the centre of Zurich, and the promenade running along River Sihl is a great spot for biking. From there the bike path runs by open fields and through the forest making it a leisure ride. If you are with kids, biking around Sihl could be fun where you can end the tour at The Wilderness Park, which is ideal for picnics. Discover the wonderful landscape around Zurich while riding along the river at a leisurely pace. Sihlwald forest right in the middle of the city is a perfect getaway from the hustle bustle of the city and allows you to take a deep dive in the nature right in the heart of the city!Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
