Movie theatres around the world
While this is the first of its kind in India, movie theatres are already trending in the rest of the world. Singapore’s Changi Airport has two movie theatres, located in Terminals 2 and 3, and are free of charge.
Interestingly, Delhi Airport too has a movie theatre that is a bit different from the rest. Here, you get to experience a state-of-the-art 6D theatre, with simulated experience such as rain, smoke, fog, snow, etc.
In America, at the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport, Minnesota, you can watch an arthouse film at the airport’s See 18 Film Screening Room. This is a theatre that operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
Hong Kong International Airport and Incheon Airport in Seoul also have movie theatres.
