Italy is known as the fashion capital of the world, and Verona is a great place for shopping with little boutiques, designer outlets, luxury brands and more. This is where you will find international brands like Gucci, Max Mara, Burberry, Givenchy and Valentino! Leather is a big draw, and you will find good quality shoe and bag shops. If you are a foodie, check the range of fresh pasta, dried herbs, oils, and salami, apart from local wines, cheeses, and warm breads. There is a flea market that sells trinkets, magnets, jewellery, stamps, clothes, and more. The main shopping avenue in Verona is at Via Mazzini. Parallel to Via Mazzini, is the Corso Porta Borsari lined with fashion stores. Le Corte Venete is Verona’s largest shopping centre and La Grande Mela in Lugagnano consists of three floors and over 130 shops. This is also the place to check out antiques or paintings which can be found in abundance at Corso Sant’ Anastasia. Once a month, there is an antique market in piazza where you can find furniture, jewellery, stamps, and even old automobiles. Shops in Verona are usually open from Tuesday to Saturday and are closed during lunch hours.
