It’s an impressive initiative by the state government which gives 177 affiliated hand weavers (Primary Weavers Cooperative Society) of the state a spectacular platform. Working for the weavers for more than five decades, it has 40 state-of-the-art stores across India with Vizag, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and New Delhi being the cities outside Odisha. Read less

It’s an impressive initiative by the state government which gives 177 affiliated hand weavers (Primary Weavers Cooperative Society) of the state a spectacular platform. Working for the weavers for more than five decades, it has 40 state-of-the-art stores across India with Vizag, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and New Delhi being the cities outside Odisha. Finest pieces of hand woven products bought from Boyanika ensure a stamp of authenticity. It is authorized to use Handloom Mark (a symbol of rich legacy and tradition) and Silk Mark (authentic pure natural silk) and is the first government-owned organization to receive the ISO 9001-2008 certificate. The famous products here are the natural dyed Kotpad fabrics, Tassar Silk, hand woven brocades, intricate Bomkai pattern in silk and cotton sarees and the newly introduced Dupion Silk known for its glossy appearance.
