Among all the states and union territories of India, Jharkhand is the one which might soon be the next big tourist destination in India. While speaking at an event, the Chief Minister talked about Jharkhand’s strengths in tourism by highlighting the fact that the entire state is blessed with an abundance in natural beauty. Besides, he also pointed out keeping the unique art and culture of the state, it is also home to skilled human resources that like to work hard.
Das also said that tourism is among the four pillars of development for the state government, with agriculture, industry and the service sector being the other three pillars.

"We have enough potential for growth in cultural tourism, eco tourism, medical tourism and mineral tourism and the government has been making all possible effort to establish the state on the tourism map of the country," Das said.
The chief minister pointed towards the fact that Jharkhand’s cultural festivals including the Rankani Mahotsav, Chau Mahotsav, Rajrappa Mahotsav and Itkhori Mahotsav would be helpful in achieving the results the state government wants in terms of tourism.
