If you love the moon, Sun, stars and everything celestial, this is the perfect opportunity for you. OliOli - Dubai's First Experiential Play Museum, to celebrate its third anniversary, has put up an innovative exhibition called The Museum of the Moon by artist Luke Jerram. Read less
Luke Jerram, a renowned British installation artist known for sculptures and live arts projects, has created a life-like moon replica at the museum space, which looks unbelievably real! He has created a setup with surround sound composition created by acclaimed composer Dan Jones.
So, if you ever wanted to become an astronaut travelling to space, you must visit the place to have a space experience. The show has been played all over the world including England India and Australia, to list a few. Are you excited already? Here’s everything you must know about this once in a lifetime experience.
Besides, there is a range of interactive activities and sessions for kids and adults. The fun-packed events include, a tour around the moon, VR moon buggy experience and rocket racing. In addition to these, visitors can also get on board, fasten their seatbelts and experience how driving feels on the moon’s surface?
More details
1) The exhibition started in October and to watch the show one will have to pay AED 126 OR INR 2515. The ticket cost is inclusive of admission of one child and one adult.
2) The same same ticket can be used to check out other galleries set inside the museum.
3) Validity of a ticket is two hours only.
4) The show will run for the next six months, so enough time to visit.
5) Besides admiring the beauty of the moon, visitors can create their own moon at the crafts station and can take home some fond memories and handmade souvenirs.
