I definitely eat the local bread of the area I am visiting. If I’m in Istanbul I make sure to eat enough pita, in Udaipur, I eat the famous kulcha or naan and in Hyderabad I go to the old city to taste the double ka meetha bread.

Travel plan I do not plan my travel, I let it happen spontaneously because I think whatever happens spontaneously is the best.
Travel style I try to strike a balance by looking for that sweet spot between planning and spontaneity.
Food while travelling I definitely eat the local bread of the area I am visiting. If I’m in Istanbul I make sure to eat enough pita, in Udaipur, I eat the famous kulcha or naan and in Hyderabad I go to the old city to taste the double ka meetha bread.
Must-pack items My GoPro camera.
Travel lesson you have learnt Talk to people because conversations can teach you way more than any websites.
Funniest or scariest travel moment Once I was in Istanbul and my friend booked a dorm cave for our stay. It was a dormitory inside a real cave with around 20 bunk beds. I have a bit of claustrophobia but that day it became more evident than ever. I think my bed was the last one and it became chilly and dark at night. I just couldn’t sleep all night and kept looking for mysterious things in the dark. It was pretty scary.
Travel gear I wear stretchable fabric while travelling, because you never know when you have to jump on a boat, run, catch a train, get on a bike, so on and so forth. You cannot afford to be in tight jeans.
Travel goals I definitely want to backpack in Vietnam.
Travel pet peeves I don’t think I have any.
Best weekend getaway, family holiday, solo travel, holiday with friends We are lucky that Mumbai has so many weekend gateways. I like to go around Rajmachi – there are lots of scenic spots there. Also, Rishikesh with friends.
l Next stop | I would get to know two days before the trip.
