Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum or Bangalore Museum was inaugurated in 1962 by the then Prime Minister of Indian, Jawaharlal Nehru. This place is extremely interesting and fascinating and with no surprise, draws around a million visitors each year. If your child is a budding little scientist, then visiting this museum can be one of the prime things to do with kids in Bangalore. At the Space Gallery insides, one can know about history of space exploration. Museum also has a dedicated space for the extinct dinosaurs, and there is a brilliant moving replica of a Spinosaurus. Kids would love it here as Bannerghatta National Park is one of the best kids’ friendly places in Bangalore but with little precaution from parents. The place is a combination of zoo having myriad species of animals, butterfly enclosure and aquarium. You can also opt for lion and tiger safari in the park which is highly recommended. Spread across huge 25,000 acres, this Teeming with a wide variety of flora and fauna, the park is an educational as well as a recreational experience for children and is also frequented by trekkers. Amongst its wide variety of fauna, the park is home to leopards, elephants, wild boars and tigers. The park is also watered by a small lake, where visitors can also opt for a half-an-hour boat ride. A great escape from the city boundaries, this national park lets you unwind, explore the wilderness and makes for a great day-trip destination with your kids.
