Spread over 800 hectares of land, this UNESCO-protected vineyard is known for its unique hillside terraces and pesticide-free produce. The medieval St. Saphorin with its tapered pathway and typical winegrowers' residences dating back to the several centuries is a good home base for your tasting sojourn. The town's original church steeple still adorns many wine labels today. Be sure to book a table at Auberge de l'Onde for a delightful meal you’ll remember well for the following seasons. Indulge in a day trip by hiking to the vibrant hills of Lutry, and make sure to check out the traditional pubs and wine cellars serving Chasselas.How to Get There: Board a train to St. Saphorin station or a commercial passenger boat to Rivaz - St. Saphorin; You can return by train from Lutry station or by a commercial passenger boat.
