Otter Creek

It cannot really get more private and picturesque than camping in a tent at Otter Creek. There are three tents available, all nestled amongst coconut trees and each with their own bamboo jetty over the creek. The tents each sleep only two people, with own bathroom with hot water. The creek and its surrounds around truly stunning with great scenery and resident turtles, located just a few hundred metres from the sea. An on-site cook is available to cook a feast at your request, or you are free to use the kitchen yourself. The site requests a minimum of a seven-night stay, meaning loads of time for chilling in a hammock by the river or exploring nearing villages. Bustling tourist centre, Goa, is a 25-minute drive. Nearby Anjuna village is famous for its Wednesday flea market where you can put your haggling skills to test and pick up some rare items. There is plenty to see and savour, although the camp has been designed for relaxation and peace. It remains closed between May and September.
