This is the most diverse museum on the list and if you a good number of people in your family or are with a travel group with different interests, this museum is sure to suit everyone. History buffs can learn more about the history of Scotland, and the rest of the world while fashionistas will love the art, design and fashion galleries. The natural world galleries are always a favourite and feature giant dinosaurs along with other life-sized animals in the gallery. Kids will certainly love the interactive Adventure Planet with its dinosaur skeletons, giant trees and dress up corner. The Grand Gallery might just be the most beautiful part of the museum with its soaring pillars and high windows. They also have dramatic items on display such as the Millennium Clock that comes to life each hour and the huge Window on the World exhibit that stands four stories high. With free admission, this is a must stop on your visit to Scotland; make sure you give yourself an entire day to explore this museum.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
