Monaco to host Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival in November

Apart from the Mediterranean landscape which makes it one of the most amazing places to visit in the world, there is one more thing that makes a trip to Monaco worthwhile every year during the month of November. It is the Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival. And as far as the Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival of 2017 is concerned, it will be the 12th edition of the musical odyssey which is famous for taking spectators on a musical journey through the past, present and future of Jazz music.
Held under the patronage of H S H Prince Albert II, the Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival has been known to bring together the finest jazz musicians from different parts of the world on one stage at the Opera de Monte-Carlo. Starting from November 16 this year, the festival is expected to get some of the best jazz stars and also the contemporary jazz voices. The Opera Garnier has been chosen as the host for the festival.


Just like every annual edition of this festival, the 12th Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival will see thousands of jazz music lovers from different parts of the world gather here just to attend the festival and witness some of the finest performances from the genre. As usual, some of the biggest jazz artistes of international repute will perform in this festival this year.


While the opening night will see a performance by the famous Marcus Miller, other performers in this year’s edition will include Stacey Kent, Texas and Christophe and more. The festival also has The Puppini Sisters for its closing evening, a group which is considered to be one of the leading close-harmony groups in the world.
