Close to the international airport with a newly built marina, Eden Island is where most tourists head to shop, stay and relax. Located on the east coast of Mahe, the windmills fill the landscape even as towering yachts anchor at the marina. The island is connected to mainland Mahe by a bridge. Supermarkets, malls, restaurants and bars fill the island. My recommendation – just sit near the Marina Boardwalk and enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the yachts at sea. Linger until evening and all the bars and pubs come alive with live music. Read less
