This 4-day festival was started back in 2010 and has become one of the most well loved festivals in Winnipeg. Hailed as Western Canada’s leading electronic music and digital arts festival, MEME is loaded with different things to see and do. This 4-day festival was started back in 2010 and has become one of the most well loved festivals in Winnipeg. Hailed as Western Canada’s leading electronic music and digital arts festival, MEME is loaded with different things to see and do. Outdoor concerts make up a huge part of this festival and are held in The CUBE, a free outdoor venue for all. It is the ‘after CUBE’ late night parties and events that really ramp people up though. Spread across breathtaking venues such as the Winnipeg Art Gallery and the Pantages Playhouse, these multi-media and electronic music spectacles are not to be missed. The great thing about this festival is for just $70, a wristband can be purchased for entire 4 days. As well as some incredible electronic music, there are plenty of workshops that are offered each year. Offered over the years have been carnival arts workshops such as hoola hooping, audio production workshops, VJ workshops and more. Headliners have included Sergio Levels, Mark Grimace, John Delerious, Jamie Kidd and more.
