Manitoba Electrical Museum

Visitors come here to learn about hydroelectric development in Manitoba from 1870 to today. All ages are welcome here and can discover interesting exhibits such as a wind turbine model, a 1940s farm kitchen and future electric developments. Kids can learn about generating stations that are in the province as well as find out about the first uses of electricity in Winnipeg. The favourite may just be the 500 kV Van de Graaff generator that is a hair-raising experiencing.
