National Art Gallery

Also located in Male, the National Art Gallery, albeit small, is the only exhibition space of its kind in the Maldives. Representative of the nation’s fledgling art scene, it showcases solo exhibitions and hosts the biennial contemporary exhibition where you get a chance to appreciate the myriad art forms originating from the area, ranging from conceptual works, to art and photography.
