India’s Lakshadweep Islands present a whole new look into beach life, and travellers find its shore a perfect getaway from the din of city. Now making travel easier to the islands, Lakshadweep Islands airport woes are set to vanish as Minicoy Island is preparing to get its own airport. The new airport is being set up in order to promote tourism in Lakshadweep.

The new Lakshadweep Island airport at Minicoy Island will help boost tourism in the island, while the IDA reviewed development plans for nine islands. Out of these nine, four are in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands region, and five in Lakshadweep. The currently available islands here in Lakshadweep are Kavaratti, Kadmat, Bangaram, Kalpeni, and Minicoy. Though these islands are accessible, there are few options to access these locations. But with the upcoming airport, it would be easier to access the islands.
Lakshadweep Island has some stunning isolated locations and is known for its stunning natural beauty. The new airport here in the Islands is yet another reason for you to visit the islands.
