IRCTC, for the convenience of the travellers and devotees of Mata Vaishno Devi, has decided to extend it’s weekly special train to Vaishno Devi. The Northern Railways has extended its Yesvantpur-Hazrat Nizamuddin-Yesvantpur Weekly Superfast Special Train (06521/06522) to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra starting April 4, 2019. Read less
IRCTC, for the convenience of the travellers and devotees of Mata Vaishno Devi, has decided to extend it’s weekly special train to Vaishno Devi. The Northern Railways has extended its Yesvantpur-Hazrat Nizamuddin-Yesvantpur Weekly Superfast Special Train (06521/06522) to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra starting April 4, 2019.
As per railway officials, the weekly special train will depart every Thursday starting April 4 to June 20 at 6.30 AM from Yesvantpur. The same train would further leave from Hazrat Nizamuddin at 3.50 AM on Saturday and will reach Vaishno Devi in Katra at 6.50 PM on Saturday itself.
The same train (06522) Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Yesvantpur Weekly Superfast Special Train in will return journey will leave from Vaishno Devi in Katra every Monday from April 8 to June 24 at 5.40 AM. It will reach Yesvantpur at 3 PM on the third day of departure.
About Mata Vaishno Devi Katra
Vaishno Devi is probably one of the most pious religious centres for the Hindus. The temple here is nestled in the Trikuta Mountains and is dedicated to the Hindu Goddess Mata Adi Shakti. The temple is located in Katra in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir and is visited by thousands of devotees each year.
