The Telangana government has recently inaugurated India’s first ever National Park for the differently abled people.
"This is the first such park in India. I hope this becomes a model for other states," Rao said on the occasion.

The minister also revealed that an IT park with similar facilities would soon be opened in the state.
While Hyderabad is already a popular destination in the southern part of the country among both business and leisure travellers, special initiatives taken for differently abled people like this National Park, might certainly help in boosting the number of tourist footfalls in Telangana.
Some of the most popular national parks in the Telangana state include Mrugavani National Park, Mahavir Harina Vanasthali National Park, KBR National Park and Nagarjunasagar Srisailam Tiger Reserve among other wildlife sanctuaries across the state.
