This classic route begins in Lamayuru and over Prinkiti La (3725 m) to Wanla, a relatively easy start as it is not too strenuous. The newly constructed metalled road with rarely any traffic, between Wanla and Hinju is unavoidable unless the trek is started in Hinju or with a detour to the small village of Ursi. This short trek introduces some of the remote and quaint little villages which are tucked away in the mountains between Zanskar and Indus Rivers. The trail moves up and down and passes through narrow gorges. Read less

The newly constructed metalled road with rarely any traffic, between Wanla and Hinju is unavoidable unless the trek is started in Hinju or with a detour to the small village of Ursi.
