While walking around in Melbourne, don’t be surprised if you find a whole little lane tucked away in the busy sprawling metropolis awash in a big palette of vibrant colors and artistic pieces. Melbourne is one of those few cities in the world that takes pride in its street art culture neatly wrapping them in its narrow lanes and alleyways that happily double up as open canvases for artists to paint their heart out and for others like you and me to savor it absolutely free of cost.Just walk around the town and pleasantly surprise yourself by bumping into some of the finest arts that you will ever see. These lanes invite you to enter and lose yourself; and flow into their being. The more you discover them, the more you realize just how beautifully art can complement the vibrant urban facets of a city’s personality, how creativity can thoughtfully find a way in the city’s chaos.
You can complement them by taking pictures and show them to your friends and family when you get back home. Union lane and Rutledge lanes are among the famed places where you can see them but they are spread all over the city. So, that also makes it nearly impossible to not hit into at least one of them while your stay in Melbourne!
