The Hankyu Department Store is an emblematic structure inside the humongous Umeda Station and is synonymous with luxury shopping in Osaka. Founded in 1929, this mall underwent some major restoration for as long as seven years, only to reopen in 2012. Read less

The Hankyu Department Store is open from 10 in the morning, until 8 in the evening, from Sundays to Thursdays. Moreover, it is open till 9 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. The store is some 350 m from the JR Osaka Station, and is walking distance from the Umeda Underground Shopping Arcade, and the HEP Five.
