When the weather is rubbish and you just want to get away from it, why not go and see a movie? Catching a film in Thailand is an experience in itself. There is a 3-minute video honoring the king shown before the feature film at all major movie theatres in Thailand. Thai people love their King (I mean really really love their King), so make sure you take your hat off and stand up for the duration of this short film, and don’t laugh or do anything disrespectful. Try the first class seats! It’s so much cheaper than in Australia, Europe or the USA.
