Whether you’ve in town to party over the weekend, or you’re visiting with family, Miami travel can be made easy by using one of the many modes of public transport available in the city. If you’re on a budget, move around by either the bus, or the Metrorail—although both these options are not completely reliable, they’re your best bet. You can hail a taxi with absolute ease, but stick to using these for short distances, as the metre price begins to gallop once you’ve crossed the initial fare. The easiest way to get around the city though, is by hiring a set of wheels—like in most other American cities, you can rent a basic model for a lower price, or be extravagant by picking something snazzy and fast—which will get you to and fro in the least amount of time and give you the added advantage of independence and flexibility.
