IRCTC will be running this special train, which will embark on its journey from Delhi, while taking the pilgrims to all the five takhts, including three in Punjab. It will be a 10-day journey. As per the latest developments, the Panj Takht Express will cover all the five temporal takhts—Sri Akal Takht at Amritsar-Punjab, Takht Keshgarh Sahib at Sri Anandpur Sahib-Punjab, Takht Sri Damdama Sahib at Bhatinda-Punjab, Takht Sri Patna Sahib at Patna-Bihar, and Takht Sri Hazur Sahib at Nanded-Maharashtra.
This special train announced on the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev is indeed great news for all those, who have always wanted to visit these sacred takhts to pay obeisance.
