Pangi Valley in Himachal Pradesh, for some, is a road to heaven. Those some are people with strong head and adventure souls because the roads leading to this gorgeous valley are absolutely a no-no for the faint-hearted!Less populated, Pangi Valley is truly a hidden gem in Himachal, still safe from the eyes of hungry tourists. Only travellers in search of peace, nature and adventure make it through with strong determination and the views that greet the eyes are totally worth every pain. The unadulterated and fresh air fills the lungs and washes away all the tiredness! But keep in mind that the roads are still in poor condition, and the government needs to do a lot to make it more vehicle and traveller friendly.
Sach Paas in the valley, at an altitude of 14,500 feet (4,400 m) remains open for vehicles between the months of mid-June and October; for rest of the time, it is covered in a white blanket of snow. The valley is populated with Bhoti people, who mostly practise Hinduism or Buddhism.
Here are some stunning pictures from the valley that will make you forget all difficulty levels and inspire you to hit the roads leading to this less-explored heaven in Himachal!
