Watered by three artificial lakes, the Chateau d'Ori estate is home to a vast vineyard, dome-shaped winery and a farm house, set at the feet of Nhera-Ori hills in the Dindori district to the north of Nashik. The winery is also home to an intimate tasting lounge, stacked with most premium wines produced by the wine house. The grape-growing alleys of the winery are neatly arranged amidst network of access-roads, which are used for soil-maintenance and guided tours. Established as recently as 2007, Chateau d’Ori has the largest merlot plantation in the country, and ranks as one of the premium wineries of the western region.
