Encompassing three adjoining parks – Centennial Park, Moore Park and Queens Park in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, this lush 360-hectare oasis is large enough for every visitor to find their own quiet corner to take a cheeky afternoon snooze. Explore a wider section of the vast grounds peppered with ponds, statues and Australian native flora via bicycle or on rollerblades (both can be hired on-site), or opt for a horse-riding tour at the Equestrian Centre.
The parklands play host to numerous festivals throughout the year, from foodie-must A Taste of Sydney in March to Moonlight Cinema during the summer months.

From the CBD, bus numbers 378, 380, 382, L82 will take you to the park gates at Paddington and Woollahra.
