Bitaka Flea Market

Bitaka Flea Market is probably one of the most unique flea markets that you will ever visit. There is literally no order to the madness that unleashes itself at this flea market every weekend—everything from old newspapers and crumbling books to rubber dinosaurs and typewriters are for sale here. Mugs, toys, furniture, ceramics, paintings, vintage video cassettes, old clothes, electric plugs, bags, trinkets and accessories—you name it and Bitaka Flea Market has it. There are dozens upon dozens of sellers hawking wares. You will also spot lots of Roma families on horse drawn carriages.
It takes time but you can easily stumble on memorabilia from the Communist era and collectibles such as old postcards and peoples’ personal diaries. If that’s not your thing, then just go and walk around at the Bitaka Flea Market and buy a meal off the BBQ stands in the area as you absorb the madness.
