The total climb takes around 3 to 4 hours depending on the fitness levels. Climbing the sharp ridge is a thrilling experience. The strenuous hike is rewarded with stunning panorama of Taman Melawati and downtown KL in the distance. Tip of the ridge is the best vantage point to enjoy the 360 degrees view of the surrounding countryside. On one side you will spot spectacular Klang Gates reservoir covered with lush green forest while on the other side there is a contrasting concrete jungle. If you have spent enough days in the Kuala Lumpur’s urban madness, Bukit Tabur offers a perfect getaway to the green. Do remember to register at the gate before commencing the climb.
