One of the oldest markets in the city of Hyderabad, Begum Bazar is a large wholesale market for household goods situated close to the Moazzam Jahi Market and the Osmania General Hospital. The market was built by the city’s merchants on the land gifted to them by Humda Begum, the wife of the seven Nizam of Hyderabad, Osman Ali Khan.
