Beena Soni's store stocks only one thing: exquisite, handmade (and often hand-painted) jalabiyas—like an evening dress with an Arabic twist. In fact, since she opened up shop in the emirate of Sharjah, her dresses have become a staple with royalty throughout the Middle East. She even has two stores that cater exclusively to local sheikas.
Even those not in the market for her haute designs (and they don't come cheap) could not fail to appreciate her craft. Beenas is worth a look, even if just to get a glimpse of how the other, much wealthier, half dresses.
