Based in Auckland's Viaduct Harbour, Auckland Jet Boat Tours offer boating adventure tours that depart from the Maritime Museum. Once fitted with a life vest and aboard the boat, you will travel outside of the harbour and under the Auckland Harbour Bridge. Once past Kauri Point, the jet boat enters Auckland's Waitemata Harbour and will begin to pick up speed. The boat captain then opens up the 300 horsepower twin engines and begins performing maneuvers such as 180- to 270-degree fish tails, power slides and wave rides. You will stay out in the harbour for a total of 35 minutes before returning back to the departure point. Auckland Jet Boat Tours also offers jet skiing adventures and combination tours that pair jet boating with other area adventures such as quad biking, bungee jumping and a helicopter ride.
