You will however find just about everything else. The street has been a popular shopping destination ever since it was home to Tokyo’s post-World War II black market. The modern Ameyoko is full of around 400 stores selling products such as clothing, cosmetics, handbags, various foods, spices and fresh fish. Prices here are cheaper than other parts of Tokyo, making it a great for budget travelers.
