Entry to all national parks in the US will be free on September 28

The National Park Service, on the occasion of the National Public Lands Day on September 28, has made entry to all 418 national parks across the US absolutely free for all visitors. The fee varies from park to park and can go up to $20 per person or $30 per vehicle (this rate is minus parking permits). So, this is a great opportunity for those wanting to explore certain national parks and also save some extra bucks.
Among 418 parks, 112 parks charge from $3 to $20 per person or $30 per car. Therefore, it would be a smart choice to visit the national park which charges the heftiest entry fee which may range $20 per person or $30 per vehicle for entrance.

Visitors can choose to explore the famous Grand Canyon National Park (Arizona), Rocky Mountain National Park (Colorado), Yosemite National Park (California), Glacier National Park (Montana) and also the Yellowstone National Park (Montana and Idaho) among others.
The National Park Service Deputy Director P. Daniel Smith told the press that the entrance fee-free days organised by the National Park Service are exclusive occasions to invite visitors, volunteers and veterans honour certain important moments for the national parks and moments for service in those parks.
