Royal Gaitor

A collection of mausoleums of Jaipur’s royal family, the Royal Gaitor is located below Nahargarh Fort and is only a short drive away from the city centre. The complex contains the cenotaphs of Jaipur’s former rulers such as Maharaja Madho Singh II, Maharaja Jai Singh II and Pratap Singh. One of the pink city’s lesser-known attractions, Gaitor demonstrates an impressive use of marble in its exquisite domes and carved pillars.
