Surrounded by lush-green gardens and made entirely of marble, the Birla Mandir (also called the Laxmi Narayan Temple) is one of the most stunning temples in the pink city. The three huge domes, stained glass windows depicting the scenes from Hindu scriptures and marble sculptures will leave any visitor awestruck. Promising a serene and tranquil atmosphere, the temple has a large hall with walls embellished with intricate carvings from the Geeta and the Upanishads. Located at the feet of Moti Dungri Fort, the temple has a small shop at its entrance selling souvenirs and gifts. The temple complex is also home to a museum which displays the ancestral possessions of the Birla family.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
